The pump casing is foot-supported and features a "back pull-out" design, allowing for the inspection and removal of the impeller and shaft seal without disconnecting the piping attached to the casing, thereby facilitating maintenance.
The casing supports are capable of withstanding piping loads and transferring them directly to the foundation. This prevents rotor deflection caused by external loads, thereby ensuring the service life of the shaft seal and bearings.
The pump unit can be equipped with a comprehensive venting system to facilitate the evacuation of air from the suction piping.
A double mechanical seal with external cooling/flushing water can be employed to improve operating conditions and extend the seal's service life.
